The region is generally to the west of the Town of Morrisville, and is served well by both NC Hwy 55 and the new Interstate 540.

The area is very popular with people who work in the RTP area, RDU airport, and also provides excellent access to just about anywhere in the Triangle. Cary has exploded to the west and now includes jurisdiction into Chatham County. West Cary is generally the area to the west of Cary Parkway, wrapping around Morrisville and stretching down to meet Apex to the South.
